THE FACE behind the lens

I work as a freelance photographer out of Florence, South Carolina. Growing up in front of the lens ignited my passion for photography. Every Christmas, I would almost always get a brand-new camera and practice becoming a model. That desire of being a published model became apparent before the end of 2018. Who would have imagined that all I needed to do to get there was shave my head. That decision opened possibilities for me, it allowed me to get in tune with my creative side and build confidence. I got the chance to model at runway events, barber expos near the District of Columbia, and hair shows. My journey served as a teaching tool for me as well as inspiration for other women and young girls. I want to keep implementing this with ANPOV Photography. Amanda Nicola’s Point of View is about seeing one’s potential through another perspective, it’s about bringing family’s and couples together. ANPOV is about giving one a voice they didn’t think they had because a picture is worth a thousand words that everyone deserves to share.
